Bad Timing
Spring Semester
During the spring semester, Trey worked mainly on score demos, scratch audio and script adaptation. Week to week Trey composed tracks and made demos to play for directors and get feedback. Each week a new animatic would be released and scratch audio was to be applied to it for critique. The sound team also auditioned students for VO to be worked in with the animatic.
Fall Semester
Trey became the lead of the sound team for the Fall semester. Since the Spring semester was mostly planning, Trey worked with the team in the Fall to make all of our ideas come to fruition. We worked with many volunteer VAs to complete and record the script. Keeping everything synced with weekly animatics and editorial changes was super important to keeping everything organized and under control. Hours of foley was recorded for the film along with the dialogue recorded. Trey was also in charge of recording the score that was passed by the directors from the Spring semester.
The Final Product
Trey was the final mixing and mastering engineer for the film, finishing with both a stereo and a 5.1 surround mix.
