About

Trey Sinclair has been composing and performing music for over a decade. He has been recording, engineering, mixing, and mastering, for 6 years. Trey is a classically trained cellist and has often integrated this into his compositions. Starting in secondary school, Trey began playing the cello in a youth contemporary Christian band where he learned the ins and outs of playing with a small group. He began to teach himself to drum to be more versatile in that environment. His first professional drum gig was playing for St. Paul Lutheran Church on Sunday mornings, which he’s still involved in. Soon after, he played the drums on "Idaho" and "In the Morning" by Ethan Montano.

Trey’s audio design work began at The University of Texas at Dallas, where he learned extensively about studio recording, signal flow, and post production. Trey designed various sound effects for the student led games Drosera in 2020 and Galaxy Busters Elite in 2021 using Unity for integration. In 2022 Trey worked as the lead sound designer and audio engineer on ATC’s animated short Bad Timing. Leading a group of two sound designers, Trey learned the pace and style of working on a studio production with other teams.
